Ques 1) Value Of NIOS Board for IIT JEE, PMT
And Government Job Exams?
Ans 1)
The answer is YES because NIOS Board, is
constituted under the ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India. It is the third largest
board after CBSE & ICSE and have an equivalent weightage of that of CBSE
& ICSE. With 2.2 millions
enrollments it becomes the world’s largest open schooling system. It’s
examination pattern and schedule also makes it quite popular among students.
MIOS Board helps such students as are preparing simultaneously in different
renowned coaching nstitutes of India for One and Two years programme of various
competitive exams like IIT EE, AIEEE, PMT (NEET), CA, CS, ICWA,CLAT and also
other professional and academic courses.
Another thing which makes NIOS more important
is that all its documents have Govt. Of India printed on it, which gives it
more genuinely. If any institution/ University objects in taking admission of a
NIOS Passed students then it is directly challenging the Ministry of Human
Resource and Development, In the present PERCENTILE scenario of the Joint
Entrance examination (JEE) NIOS has the most competitive percentile scenario
among national boards and provides a great benefit to the Aspirants of IIT-JEE.
NIOS is founded by the Ministry of Human
Resource and Development (MHRD), government of India in 1989. Through a
resolution (F,5-24/90 Sch 3 dated 14 September 1990 published gazette of India
20 October 1990) and if you look at the
mark sheet that is awarded by the NIOS it clearly mentions on its Government of
India. The IIT and PMT or any other government run or Private University since
they are also run by government of India. You are equally eligible as compared
to the person from any other board be it ICSE/CBSE/UP boards or any state run
board for intermediate and high school examinations.
Coaching institutes for IIT-JEE can be found at
almost every corner of street of India. Size and strength of students vary at
these places. But, all have same purpose to give students guidance for clearing
IIT-JEE. No doubt many fail to produce even a single IITian in lifetime.
Students of 10+2 mathematics are crazy about IIT. May be you are one of them
too who desperately want to be a part of IIT and has a degree from NIOS. So these
students should not worry and should try for IIT exam without fear as NIOS
degree is treated equally like degrees received from CBSE or ISCE board.
